Welcome to our school.
Staunton and Corse School is a Church Aided school for boys and girls aged 4 to 11 years which is owned by the Church but financially aided by the local education authority (LEA) from whom almost all the school's income is derived.
Since the school is a church of England school, Christian principles play a large part in the general education of the children as well as being a specific part of the curriculum.
The school was purpose built in 1993. It is a well equipped primary school in an idyllic rural setting with extensive playing fields and modern facilities.

The school is divided into five classes.
There are normally two infant classes for Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 children, and three junior classes for Years 4,5 and 6. Year groups are kept together wherever possible.
We have 130 children on our school roll at present, thus our classes each comprise 26 pupils on average.
